UA Engineering Safe Reopening Plan

The UA College of Engineering is committed to delivering a high-quality education, advancing life-changing research and development, and creating a vibrant campus experience -- as safely as possible.

The college’s Safe Reopening Plan (pdf) includes detailed information on all aspects of reentry related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among topics covered are the following:

  • Flexible course offerings -- in-person, online and hybrid
  • Measures for optimal student engagement
  • Safety protocols in and out of the classroom and in labs and buildings
  • Procedures for testing, tracing and treating
  • Guidelines for remote advising and working at home

The plan builds on recommendations put forth by the University of Arizona Campus Reentry Plan Working Group.
