Changing Your DegreeAll students must have a minimun UA cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or better to change into a new degree program or college. From Pre-Engineering to a Degree Program in the College of EngineeringYou will need:
Students who have completed courses with the required grade point average will automatically be changed into their requested degree program. If you do not see this change on your student link, contact the college advisor in the Engineering Academic Affairs Office, Room 219. Students who have reached the 50 maximum unit limit and do not qualify for an engineering degree program will be required to change colleges. Students who have not reached the advanced standing grade point average, and have less than 50 units, will continue in Pre-Engineering as long as they are making progress to their intended degree program. College of Engineering Students: Declared Majors or No Major SelectedIf you are a first-semester student, you can change to any Engineering degree program. After the first semester, you must have:
