Admissions to Engineering

Transfer students are those who have completed 24 units or more at another institution. Visit the Transfer Admission Requirments page for detailed information.

Engineering applicants must have:

• 2.5 GPA (math and science coursework at the college level)
  
• Transferable Calculus I credit

Denied admission to College of Engineering?

Transfer students admitted to the UA, but denied admission to the College of Engineering, can reapply to Engineering. After completion of Calculus I with a grade of C or better and 12 or more credits of coursework within the UA engineering curricula (see below), excluding Tier 1 and Tier 2 courses, with a GPA in those courses equivalent to or above the Advanced Standing GPA for the requested major.    

After you have been admitted to Engineering

Before you are allowed to register, you must do the following:

• Contact your major advisor 
• Submit your immunization record 
• Find your student identification number and PIN in your letter of admission. You'll need these to register.
