SEA Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be allowed to go to the Book Store to buy UA memorabilia?
Yes, but only under the supervision of a camp counselor. Students will be escorted and under supervision at all times.

Will I be allowed to bring outside food into my dorm room?
Yes, but it is not necessary because all three meals will be provided for you.

I can attend only three of the five days. Can I still apply?
No, the program is intensive and students are required to attend all five days.

I am participating in another program; is it OK to leave during the SEA program for 2 hours one afternoon?
Yes, you can go, but arrangements must be made with your counselor at least 24 hours in advance.

I have a doctor's appointment during the SEA program; can I still go?
Yes, you can go, but arrangements must be made with your counselor at least 24 hours in advance.

Can I bring my car to the dorm?
No. Students are not allowed to bring their cars.

Is there a dress code?
Yes, there is. The dress code for the SEA program is casual. The students work in a casual work place setting and there is no need for formal attire. On the last day of camp students give a presentation, if their group decides to dress up, formal attire may be appropriate.

What do I need to bring to the program?
Notebook, pencils and pens, drivers license as picture ID, and pocket money.

The courses are residential, so what do I need to bring?
Bed sheets or sleeping bag, toiletries, shoes for going to the recreational center, and entertainment for the dorm room, such as books and magazines. Cell phones, iPods and other MP3 players or handheld video game players are OK, but leave your Xboxes and Wiis at home. Basically, don't bring any valuable items.
