Donations and Support

There are many ways to support the College:

Endowment Gift

Endowment gifts provide an ongoing source of support for a position or program. An endowment can be established with a minimum gift of $10,000. This gift remains in perpetuity and the corpus of the gift is never spent. It is invested, and a portion of the income (payout) is made available each year to support the designated program.

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts provide much needed support and flexibility to the Dean and department heads in meeting the most pressing needs of the College. An outright gift may be restricted to support a specific program or department or it may be unrestricted, which allows the College to choose where the need is greatest.

Planned Gifts

The Engineering Development Office and the Office of Planned Giving at The University of Arizona Foundation can assist you with questions about making a bequest, or setting up a charitable trust or charitable gift annuity to benefit the College of Engineering. da Vinci Circle: Our College of Engineering Giving Society

The da Vinci Circle is named for Leonardo da Vinci. It benefits faculty and students while directly engaging patrons in the discovery process. da Vinci Circle members either contribute to the Dean's Fund or support a favorite department or program in the College. In return, the College is creating programs and events for da Vinci Circle members that reflect the diversity and richness of da Vinci's broad-ranging intellect.
