Again, the UA Office of Student Financial Aid administers most of the scholarships available to new incoming students at UA. That office has also compiled a comprehensive list of free scholarship searches. UA scholarships for incoming fresham are listed here. To be considered, students must have submitted their SAT or ACT test scores as well as official high school transcripts. Scholarships: College of Engineering and Engineering DepartmentsThe College of Engineering offers scholarships to National Merit semifinalists and finalists, National Merit Hispanic Scholars, and National Achievement semifinalists and finalists. Departmental Scholarships Departments vary in the process they use for reviewing scholarship applications. The departmental scholarship coordinator will attempt to match scholarship criteria to eligible students. Some scholarships are based on financial need, as defined by federal standards, and all require some degree of academic progress. Most engineering scholarships are awarded to continuing engineering students.
